We are a community-based organization fighting for positive changes for the black and brown community not only here in Bexar County but across the state of Texas. We are reaching out to our community to fight for criminal justice reform. In our efforts to abolish the cash money bail system we have set up a bail fund to assist those who can not afford bail. We at TOP are firm believers your financial status should not determine your freedom!
To be considered for Bail assistance the client must meet the following criteria:
- The bail amount must be $5,000 or less
- Have a safe place to go upon release
- Have a reference contact: Name, Phone Number, Email
- Have a verifiable Address
- No Holds/ Warrant
